Artist Bio

Flavio Sanchez is a California based creative and photographer.  I specialized in 35mm film and digital photography.
My current photographic work focuses on the often overlooked details and intricacies of day-to-day life in the environments in which I frequent or find myself visiting. Often described as ‘“romantic,”
my work attempts to capture the nuance of a static scene while also evoking a compelling sense of emotional ambiguity. The subjects of my photographs are in constant flux, a direct response to my ever evolving perspective of the world and the messages I want my art to covey. When I have found a body of work that I love,  I  find unique ways to showcase my work in tangible objects, providing both a visual and tactile way to experience it.
I am currently focused on building up my own body of work, while also attending college and working part time. Aside from my own body of work I have experience in various styles of photography ranging commercial, portraiture, and landscape photography.

What kind of public art project do I want to work on?

I would love to be able to use my skills to create alternative visual campaigns that would be used to communicate important messages to viewers.
