I am a painter, graphic designer, and illustrator with a BA in Studio Art and a Graduate Certificate in Science Illustration. After stints living in the SF Bay Area, Japan, Hawaii, and Washington DC, I returned to live back in my hometown of Palm Springs in 2016. I have illustrated insects for researchers at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and have work published in books and science magazines. Currently I am a freelance artist specializing in wildlife and botanical illustration and branding. In my off time I enjoy creating digital graphics for community oriented events and painting for gallery exhibitions.
What kind of public art project do I want to work on?
I was the lead artist for the Filipino Community Mural at San Francisco State University, where I directed a small team of artists to help with the initial community painting, and was the main artist in completing the mural project. Throughout the years I have assisted in helping paint murals for schools and community organization in the SF Bay Area. I have also created mobile murals on canvas for community events.
